Get ready to turn up the heat! Inspired by our friends at District Wrestling (in Washington, DC), the Mat Gala is your chance to show off your favourite singlet, lucha mask, or any gear you’ve always wanted to wear. Don't have wrestling gear, no worries! Show up and connect with other wrestlers in a friendly, inclusive space.

THE ACADEMY TORONTO
Learn new skills or brush up your technique with A professional coach from The Academy in our beginner-friendly freestyle wrestling class and open mat session. Created for the queer community to provide a fun, welcoming, and safe place to train. Whether you're brand new to wrestling or want to up your game, we got space for you on our mats.​

*Note: this is an independent event organized and run by The Academy Toronto, a wrestling and martial arts school. Attendees are required to sign a waiver and abide by the rules set out by the school. Any inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. ​
